Materials
What are your pieces made of?
We have pieces in 19,2kt, 18kt, 14kt and 9kt gold, 925 and 835 silver and bronze. The materials of each piece are detailed in the description.
Is your jewelry hallmarked?
All of our jewelry made in gold and silver is hallmarked according to Portuguese standards, ensuring authenticity and quality. However, items that fall below specific weight thresholds may be exempt from hallmarking—for example, gold pieces weighing 0,5 grams or less and silver pieces weighing 2 grams or less.
Does your jewelry contain nickel?
No, none of our jewelry contains nickel.
Orders
When will I receive my order?
It depends on the delivery location. In the case of Continental Portugal and Peninsular Spain the order should be delivered on the next business day after being dispatched. To check the delivery time for your country please see Shipping and Orders.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, you can change or cancel your MRJOIAS order if you request it before the order is shipped. If your order has already shipped, you can proceed with a return or refund once your receive the pieces instead.
How do I know my ring size?
Visit our ring size guide here for some help, however, please note that this guide is for reference only, if you are in doubt please contact our Customer Service team here.
Can I place my order over the phone?
Of course, we’d love to hear from you! Simply give us a call on +351 917 732 349 (Call to Portuguese mobile network) and one of our Customer Service team members will be able to take your order. We’re open from 11am-1pm and from 3-7pm, every weekday and Saturday.

Shipping & Deliveries
Do you ship orders to my country?
MRJOIAS Online currently ships to Continental Portugal, Madeira, Azores, Peninsular Spain, Balearic islands, Canary islands, Melilla and most European Union countries, to check if your country is contemplated please see Shipping and Orders. If your country isn’t contemplated in our delivery location list, please contact us so that we can check the possibility of shipping an order to you.
Do I need to be at the delivery address to receive my order?
Yes, for safety reasons our orders have to be delivered by hand as the courier needs to identify the person who receives the package at the moment of delivery. In case it is not possible for you to be at the delivery location please provide the name and mobile number of someone who is, or please contact us so that we can schedule the delivery for a date that is convenient for you.
What are your shipping options, costs and timeframes?

How long is delivery on made to order jewelry?
Please allow an additional 3 weeks for made to order jewelry to be delivered. Orders that contain both made to order and non made to order jewelry will be delivered at the same time. If you wish for them to be shipped separately, please place the orders separately.
Exchange & Returns
Do you offer extended returns for gifts purchased during the Christmas period?
Yes, we’ve got your Christmas shopping covered! Christmas orders placed between December 1st, 2024, and December 24th, 2024, are eligible for exchanges until January 31st, 2025. Enjoy stress-free gifting with MRJOIAS!
I would like to exchange or return an item, is that possible?
Yes it is. The items for exchange/return must arrive at our facilities within 14 days from the date of delivery, they must be delivered with all packaging and other accessories received with the order and in the same condition as you received them. Find more about our exchanges and returns here.
Can I exchange or return made to order pieces?
Made to order pieces are made specifically for the client, therefore they are non-exchange-able and non-refundable.
Can I exchange or get a refund for a piece I already exchanged?
Once a piece has been exchanged, it can’t be exchanged again or refunded.
Do you offer extended returns for gifts purchased during the Christmas period?
Yes! During the Christmas period we offer extended returns for Christmas gift purchases (must be indicated in the order notes’ section). Christmas gifts purchased between 16/11 and 24/12 can be exchanged until 31/01 of the following year.

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Credit/Debit Card, ApplePay/GooglePay/ShopPay and PayPal for all countries and MB Way and ATM Reference for Portugal (Continental and Islands).
Gift Packaging
How do I send a gift card as a gift?
Gift cards can be purchased here. Start by selecting the desired amount, then choose your send method. If selecting Send As Gift, you will have the option to send it via email, receive it in the form of a link or print it off your computer.
Packaging
Is the jewelry packaged securely for shipping?
Yes, each piece is carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit.
Will the packaging include a receipt or invoice?
For regular orders we will include a receipt, unless stated not to on the order notes. For gift orders, we will include an exchange receipt (prices will not be listed on this kind of receipt) - unless stated not to on the order notes.
Repairs & Product Care
I would like to repair an item, is that possible?
MRJOIAS provides assistance to all its items (the cost of the assistance will vary depending on the piece and necessary assistance). With the exception of pieces that have been previously assisted by non-authorized repair shops. Visit our jewelry care & repairs’ section here to find all details.
How should I take care for my jewelry?
To ensure the durability of your jewelry, you should:
- Avoid the contact with abrasive/chemical products, including detergents, cosmetics and perfumes, particularly in silver and silver plated jewelry;
- Avoid the contact with sweat, chlorine and sea water;
-Carefully store each piece separately to avoid friction;
- Put your jewelry last when dressing and remove it first when undressing.

MR stands for Manuela Rodrigues, the initials of the founder, combined with 'JOIAS,' which means 'jewelry' in Portuguese.

Founded in 1983 by Maria Manuela Rodrigues, MRJOIAS has been growing for three generations.
