Materials

What is your jewelry made of?

We have jewelry in 19,2kt, 18kt, 14kt and 9kt gold, 925 and 835 silver and bronze.

The materials of each piece are detailed in the description.

Is your jewelry hallmarked?

All of our jewelry made in gold and silver is hallmarked according to Portuguese standards, ensuring authenticity and quality.

Does your jewelry contain nickel?

No, none of our jewelry contains nickel.

Orders

When will I receive my order?

It depends on the delivery location. In the case of Continental Portugal and Peninsular Spain the order should be delivered on the next business day after being dispatched.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, you can change or cancel your order if you request it before the order is shipped.

If your order has already been shipped, you can proceed with a return once you receive it.

How do I know my ring size?

Can I place my order over the phone?

Of course, we’d love to hear from you! Simply give us a call on +351 917 732 349 (Call to Portuguese mobile network) and one of our Customer Service team members will be able to take your order. We’re open from 11am-1pm and from 3-7pm, every weekday and Saturday.

Shipping & Deliveries

Do you ship to my country?

We currently ship to Continental Portugal, Madeira, Azores, Peninsular Spain, Balearic islands, Canary islands, Melilla and most European Union countries.

To check if your country is contemplated please see shipping and orders.

If your country isn’t contemplated in our delivery location list, please contact us so that we can check the possibility of shipping an order to you.

Do I need to be at the delivery address to receive my order?

Yes, for safety reasons our orders have to be delivered in hand as the courier needs to identify the person who receives the package at the moment of delivery.

In case it is not possible for you to be at the delivery location, please provide the name and mobile number of someone who is, or contact us so that we can schedule the delivery for a date that is convenient for you.

What are your shipping options, costs and timeframes?

How long is delivery on made to order jewelry?

Please allow an additional 3 weeks for made to order jewelry to be delivered.

Orders that inlcude both made to order and non made to order jewelry will be delivered at the same time. If you wish for the orders to be shipped separately, please place separate orders.

Exchanges & Returns

I would like to make an exchange or return, is that possible?

Yes it is. The items must arrive at our facilities within 14 days from the date of delivery, they must be delivered with all packaging and other accessories received with the order and in the same condition as you received them.

Please note that the exchange/return must be previously approved by email.

Can I exchange or return made to order pieces?

Made to order pieces are made specifically for the client, therefore they are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Do you offer extended exchanges for gifts purchased during the Christmas period?

Yes! During the Christmas period we offer extended exchanges for Christmas gifts.

Christmas gifts purchased between 16/11 and 24/12 can be exchanged until 31/01 of the following year.

Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept Credit/Debit Card, ApplePay/GooglePay/ShopPay and PayPal for all countries and MB Way and ATM Reference for Portugal (Continental and Islands).

Gift Card

How do I send a gift card?

Gift cards can be purchased here.

Start by selecting the desired amount, then choose your send method. When selecting "Send As Gift", you will have the option to send it via email, receive it in the form of a link or print it off your computer.

Packaging

Is the jewelry packaged securely for shipping?

Yes, each piece is carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Will the package include an invoice?

All orders are shipped with an invoice.

If your order is a gift and marked as so on the checkout, the order will be shipped with a gift receipt inside the gift bag and the invoice will be inside the courier bag. If you prefer to receive your invoice by email instead, please lets us know on the order notes at checkout.

Jewelry Care & Repairs

I would like to repair an item, is that possible?

We provide assistance to all jewelry purchased on our website (the cost of the assistance will vary depending on the piece and necessary assistance), with the exception of pieces that have been previously assisted by non-authorized repair shops.

How should I take care for my jewelry?

To ensure the durability of your jewelry, you should:

- Avoid contact with abrasive/chemical products, including detergents, cosmetics and perfumes, particularly in silver and silver plated jewelry;
- Avoid contact with sweat, chlorine and sea water;
-Carefully store each piece separately to avoid friction;
- Put your jewelry last when dressing and remove it first when undressing.

What does MRJOIAS mean?

MR stands for Manuela Rodrigues, the initials of the founder, combined with 'JOIAS,' which means jewelry in Portuguese.

When was MRJOIAS founded?

MRJOIAS was founded in 1983 by Maria Manuela Rodrigues.

It is currently run by her daughter and granddaughters.

Is MRJOIAS a family-owned business?

Yes, MRJOIAS is a family-owned business in the 3rd generation with a legacy of quality and craftsmanship.
